Terms & Conditions – Jabe Cleaning & Maintenance Ltd

 

Payments: 

• Payment is required in advance of any cleaning service.  

• Payment is to be made to Jabe Cleaning & Maintenance Ltd bank account, by way of bank transfers. 

• Cheques or Card payments are not accepted  

• Any additional charges incurred while at the customers property, in relation to completing the service, must be paid for prior to the Jabe cleaner leaving the property. 

• In the event that keys are to be collected from a third party outside the postal code, a £10 charge will be required. 

 

Cancellation Policy: 

• Customers may cancel bookings giving at least 48 hours’ notice, whereby a refund will be given, or a new booking date arranged. 

• Should the customer cancel the booking within 48 hours, we are unable to offer a refund. 

• It is at the discernment of Jabe Cleaning & Maintenance, as to the given reason for cancellation being valid and fair.  

• Jabe Cleaning reserves the right to change the services should unforeseen circumstances arise, contacting the customer at the earliest opportunity. 

• Customers wishing to cancel, should do so, by using our contact methods on our website. 

 

Refund Policy: 

• Refunds are normally processed within 7 working days. 

• If for some reason, the cleaner cannot access the property to carryout the service, the amount paid is non-refundable. 

• Jabe Cleaners reserve the right to refuse commencement of work, should they deem the condition of the property, or contents, may put them at risk of harm, with no refund being given. 

• Jabe Cleaners reserve the right to cease the service, should they be subjected to abuse, physical or verbal, with no refund being give.  

 

Complaints: 

• Customers having any complaints or dissatisfaction, should express their grievance as soon as possible, preferably to the Jabe Cleaner prior to their departure. If for some reason, the customer should not be aware of the problem at that time, they should contact Jabe Cleaning as soon as possible. We will make every effort to rectify the issue. 

• It is expected that any complaints and subsequent efforts to resolve the issue, should have the full cooperation of the customer, whereby, Jabe Cleaners are allowed access to the property. Should this access be denied, Jabe Cleaning cannot be held liable. 

• JaBe Cleaning request, that the customer, or customers representative, are present at the start of the cleaning process, and at the completion of the work. This is so an inspection can be carried out. 

 

Insurance, Liability and Claims:  

• Jabe Cleaning & Maintenance Ltd has a public liability insurance that will cover damages caused by a cleaning operative working on behalf of the Company. 

• The company is not liable for damage due to faulty or improperly installation of any item, that may cause damage to the property or contents. 

• All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed. Items excluded from Liability Cover are: cash, jewellery, mobile phones, laptops or personal audio items, sentimental items, arts and antiques. 

• There is a £350 excess on any claim, of which £150 are paid by the customer and £200 by Jabe Cleaning & Maintenance. 

• Any wishes to claim, must be done so, within 24 hours upon completion of work, to Jabe Cleaning & Maintenance.
